Our Halloween
Here you go! The Halloween picture.
We had so much fun. Every year Jakes side of the family has a Halloween party/ birthday party for his aunt. Its my favorite to come and eat yummy hot food, and chat!
Jake and I went as bank robbers this year. In case you didn't know, I work at a bank. It was more of a funny, haha, kind of costume. Did it work?
I thought so but I was worried that maybe I would get fired or something. haha.
I still have a job, thats a good sign.
I am now excited to move onto the better holidays of this time of year.

Happy Haunting
Halloween isn't my favorite holiday, but it is one that I enjoy. Who doesn't enjoy dressing up, having fun, and eating a ton of candy? Any human should be enjoying this holiday.
Wait, is it actually a holiday?
When I first met Jake, it was in late September. That October we were to the point where we had finally told each other that we liked one another. I was working that night so I dressed up and went to work. When I was about to get off he came to visit me, and we spent the night with some friends eating good food, playing games, and eating lots of candy.
Last year was our first year married. I wanted to do something as a couple but Jake didn't want to be anything but a cowboy. I don't know how I finally came to the conclusion that I was going to be cat woman, but that's what I was. It was a fun night to go to the annual Hansen family Halloween party. It is so fun to see all the little cousins dressed up and so excited.
last night we scrambled to get the last of our stuff ready for our costumes. i will post pictures later of our costumes this year.
what are you being for halloween?

{Party Central}
Happy Friday everyone!!!
How was your Halloween??
Ours? Was super fun! We finally figured out what to be.
My dear Jake was a bum :) with his sign that he saw a guy holding once when we went to a Jazz game. "To sum to work to ugly to strip please help" Thats my husband folks :) but I love him to pieces!!!
I finally just decided to be a cat. Simple, and all the little girls said I was their favorite! hahah that's all that matters in the end right?
It was 5 o'clock when I thought that we would start getting knocks on our door for candy! but I was a little disappointed when we left at 6:30 and no one had come. Where we are in a basement I guess I couldn't really expect too much, but I was a little sad. I decided to leave our candy bucket hanging on our door when we left just in case.
TO MY SURPRISE, and Jakes as well! Half of the candy was gone. Yes, it was probably only one kid, but it still put a smile on my face!
As our first Halloween being married, it was good! Its crazy to think that a year ago Jake and I were dating and just on the beginning of our journey. What a sweet man he is!
Now onto Thanksgiving! which makes me excited because that just means one holiday closer to CHRISTMAS!!! I cannot wait. And already have set up all of my Thanksgiving decorations! Yeah, I'm excited.
This weekend I get to show off my cute little house! I am hosting a Lia Sophia Party. I cannot wait! I love myself some Jewelry! and food and friends! I cannot wait, and will upload pictures next week! Have a great weekend all. Stay warm :) and do something fun :)

Costume Crisis! and SURPRISE!
Alright all of my readers **haha all 6 of you**
ITS ALMOST HALLOWEEN TIME!!! I cannot wait! but Jake and I have this problem! We still don't know what we're going to be! First it was cowboy/cowgirl. Then Cowboy and Indian, Then Mexican and Catwoman, and now its to Homeless people.. we're going down hill here! We need a little help!? Suggestions? because well... Halloween is tomorrow :)
My neighborhood has done this cute little thing for halloween where you "boo" someone. I have seen this on Pinterest and even considered trying it. Here is the link to the instructions if you would like to do this next year or just give someone a cute little treat real quick.
Holidays make me so happy and excited! Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Valentines Day! All right in a row is not good for me :) But I've decided that this year, Jake and I are going to focus a little bit on service. And finding someone in our neighborhood to serve this holiday season. Also so we can make someone's life a little better!
Update in our little life. We are currently house hunting! I am so excited I fall in love with every house.. so far :) Then Jake has to set me in my ways so I don't go over board! Since we have been looking, I have been searching on Pinterest for all of the little things that I can do to spruce up our Non-exsistant house :) I get a little over excited about things like that! So I'll keep you posted on what's going on with that.
My little niecey, Kyah Mae is now walking, smiling, and talking *baby talk* and its making me baby hungry, and at times I think Jake is too! :) That's all I need to get him thinking about kids!
Hope you all have a very HAPPY HALLOWEEN! and a great week!
P.s. There will be a giveaway coming soon. If you read this blog, and aren't following, start following now so you can keep an eye out for when that will take place!!! :)

Fall Time
Wow... has it really been September since the last time I posted?? Well Fall is here now and I am so incredibly excited about it. I 100% love fall time. The chilly air, the bright colors, boots and scarves! I love it! Now that I have my own place to decorate, and an inspiring, crafty mother-in-law I have decorated our home like I have always wanted to!
a fun colorful wreath. I got the idea off of pinterest. :) my addiction
Sunday I made Jake wake up from his 2-3 hour nap and carve pumpkins with me... I'm a bad person I know :) but I made up for it by making scones :) yum!

And FINALLY! I am so excited. I already have Christmas done for Mr. Jake. Got amazing seats to see George Strait on his final tour! I am so excited to see his little face when he opens it :)
Hope everyone is keeping warm! I'm sensing a giveaway soon within these next few weeks :)
We'll see when the snow falls :)
