Cabinets.

When we moved into our house we went around to each room and made a list of all the things we wanted to change. It became longer and longer. One of the things on the list was our kitchen cabinets.  We never really planned on getting new ones installed but would try to find a solution to the ones we had.
One day at work, when I was on a "re-do everything in the house" kick, I stumbled upon Rustoleum Cabinet Transformation Kit. **No I'm no being reimbursed for this, these are 100% my own thoughts and feelings about this amazing product!***
I kept reading review after review about how easy it was and it didn't take very long. So I decided to bite the bullet and go buy a kit. Jake wasn't really interested and thought it was going to end bad, so this was my project.

So we started, but of course not without taking before pictures!!!

So they really aren't that bad, but I love them so much better the way they are now.

Ready to see the transformation??? I know you are.

We used the Dark Kit - Espresso. I cannot tell you how much I loved it!!!

Our fan was awful. We thought that we might try the paint on it to see how well it would work. It worked really well, and with such beautiful fan blades we replaced the covers as well. Jake grabbed some spray paint and painted the gold on the fan, we're not the biggest fans of the gold. It looks like a whole new fan!!

One of the things that we wanted to replace was our facet. It leaked and had hard water crusties on it. We almost replaced the whole sink, but decided to just go with the facet for now.

The pictures make them look blackish, but they are a dark chocolate looking brown. They look beautiful and make my whole kitchen feel bigger in a way. I love them!!! And don't mind that I haven't found a valance for over my sink.. if you know of a good deal, let me know ;)

Jake was so impressed, he said he was scared that they would look like they were painted but they don't. They look like beautiful stained cabinets!

If you are wanting to change your kitchen or bathrooms up a bit, I would recommend this to anyone and everyone. It does take some time. It took us 4 days to do the kitchen. It comes with everything in the box to do it all. We have enough left over that I can do the bathroom cabinets as well.
