Moab part 1

We went on a much needed break this last weekend to Moab. Neither Jake or I had seen Delicate Arch, and the park was free the whole weekend for Presidents day, so we packed up and headed off. I invited my sister, Ashley and her BF, Curtis, to come with us. Here are some pictures of our trip. Enjoy!

Yummy Mornings

A messy kitchen always makes a yummy breakfast. On Saturday morning we woke up and made a yummy breakfast and spent some time together. I definitely enjoy the time that I get to spend with my cute hubby!!!

**If you get the chance to make some hot chocolate, add in some pumpkin spice mix to it, makes for a yummy fall treat!!!

husband, oh husband.

Growing up, my family's humor is to mock and make fun of each other. As per usual, I picked it up. When I got to college and by the time I met Jake, I tried not to do that near as much but it obviously was still there. When we were first married I realized that I would say things out in public and to our friends that I shouldn't. I would be joking but these people who didn't know me very well didn't know that I was.

So a few months into our marriage I realized that the things I'm saying could possibly be hurting Jake. So one night I brought it up and asked him if they were getting to him and affecting him. I remember that day because I decided that I would be a better wife. He said that he knew that's how I was, but it did get to him some times.

From then on I made the decision that I would be better. That I would really try to uplift my husband, and make everyone jealous when I talked about him because he is the best husband ever!

That is one thing I have been working on, but while starting this new job, I have really realized that I have done better. I talk about Jake like he is a prince who moves mountains. Because in fact, that is exactly how he is.

Now I'm not saying that I'm perfect by any means. I do occasionally joke around and catch myself saying something about Jake, or to Jake that someone might not take the way I mean it. So I stop myself, apologize, and move on.

Time with Jake has been so much better since I decided to do that. I will be with him into the eternities and I don't want him regretting his decision to be with me.

Challenge: uplift everyone around you. Pick one person that you are around most days and make them feel better.
Life will be better, and you will be happier!!

6 months. -november- Love that He will say I cooked a good turkey when I left all the insides in it... gross.

9 months. -february- Love that He will spend our $20 gift limit on flowers and candy for me.
10 months. -march- I LOVE MY HUSBAND. Because we are still in love with each other. We are still in the honeymoon phase, and happy about it. I love my husband because he can make me laugh when all I want to do is be done with everything. I love him because he will take me to a movie and ice cream. I love my husband because he will take interest in things I love. I love my husband because he kisses me goodnight, good morning, and any chance he gets. I love my husband because he's adorable, sweet, and kind.
He's got a good butt, smile and hair.
He is my soul mate, my lover, and friend.

We've made it 10 months.. and are still madly in love!

Weekend in a flash. **POW**

WOW! Where did the weekend go!? Holy HANNAH! Well thats okay, I had a very wonderful weekend! We went on a date with Jakes cousin, Logan, and his wifey, Tia. It was a year from their first date, which we happened to be there with them. So it was just right that we all went as a group again! :) soooooo  fun!

Got some yummy Brick Oven. Stuff our little faces and headed up to Salt Lake City to go look at the pretty Christmas lights. If you are not LDS or if you are and have never been, IT IS A MUST! They are so pretty, and amazing that they can put up so many lights, and on every single branch of trees. Its crazy!

And of course, we had to make our way to City Creek.

It was fun! and I love these two. Logie and Tianator are the best ever.

As you can tell in the pictures, it snowed! WHOOOO!!!

and well...

I am paying for it today. I don't know why, but I am.

HARRY THE HONDA BROKE DOWN. At Walmart parking lot...
ugh.

But my Knight in Shining Armor came to my rescue :)

While I was sitting in the snow in nothing but my sweatshirt and my toms.. He fixed my harry. well.... kinda.

I am so glad that I married such a handy man. Oh what would I do without my Mr. Jake.
