First day of the new job

So we got back from camping yesterday. So fun! :) we went with my family to the Uintahs for a small family reunion.  And up there it rains at least once a day, so it really was fun. I'll post pictures tomorrow.

but Today!!! I start my new job, same bank different branch. I am so excited. Why? Because it's 7:55 and I don't have to leave in 15 minutes to drive to get there on time. I can leave 5-10 minutes before and get there with time to spare. This is one happy girl sitting in bed right now. 

I do have some fears about today though.

Yeah.. not being able to find the bathroom could turn into a bad problem. But I could always ask. 

which is my second fear, that I'm not going to be as good of friend as I was with my Orem friends. But it will all come in time.

Last fear is that I'm not going to know as much as people might think I do.. I don't want to fail. 

But we will surely see how this all goes. I am very excited to start today though so I can get home at 2:30 :) That is the best part of this whole job. I will let you know how it all goes. No fear.

You live and learn

I'm so sorry that I have been MIA.... again. This whole homeowners stuff sure has taken up a lot of my time. Along with finals and work. BUT GOOD NEWS! The tile is done, and we get carpet today! And the wood floors come tomorrow (along with a dentist appointment)

This girl couldn't be happier. I am the kind of person that loves to see the transformation. That is the reason I like to clean.. yes you read that right. Clean. I love to see something go from ugly or dirty to pretty and clean, and fancy.

Such as this poor house. It was built in 2000 and had all of the same school carpet and linoleum in it.

But by the end of this week.. it will be a new home!!!

Last night when I got off work I went straight to the house to see what Jake was working on and what I could help with. I was so happy to see that Questar had come and turned our gas on so we can now be warm while we work on the house. It look a minute to get it figured out, but my handyman husband figured it out.

My latest project right now is transforming this blue master bathroom..

into something that won't hurt your eyes. I chose a light brown.. I'm a little worried about how small it makes the small bathroom feel, but i'm going for it! It's happening. And so far it is making the walls feel taller (if thats a plus) and I am now in search of a really pretty big mirror to replace the one that is currently in there!

Start of the Day

Today was my first day of classes. Well... technically class. 8:30! WHAT WAS I THINKING!?

That's all I kept saying to myself as I was walking there. As I got to class all I could think is, "okay. I will do this. I will come to this class everyday, and will pass it!"

THEN!!!!!!!

THEN IT HAPPENED!!!!!

He said that today was the only day we had to come to class.  Everything else would be online unless we needed extra help! THIS IS MY KIND OF CLASS!!!

I'm a happy girl, but still. I will make this happen, along with all of my resolutions!!!
