Sanpete Fun

This weekend was a short fun packed adventure. To start it all off I spent the day at a golf tournament with two lovely ladies; Miss Katie and Vanessa. It was really quite nice. Spending the day getting a nice tan, and getting paid to do it! That's the life!!

Only one little down fall. Along with all of the sun and fun I put sun screen every where but my face, so now I'm left with two wonderful raccoon eyes!! Its nice! But anyways, I came home and spent the rest of the night with my wonderful husband just laying around being lazy, while watching basketball, and Jake pack for his hunting trip. It was a night like that, that made me very grateful I married such an amazing man!

Saturday was our big day! Slept in for a little bit, then I decided to bust out our new high tech waffle maker and make Jake some tasty waffles. Then we packed up the car and made our way to Manti to see the dedication of the new Pioneer Heritage Garden with my mom, sister and brother-in-law. It was awesome but the place needed some major air conditioning. The Mormon Tabernacle Choir and the Orchestra from Temple Square was there and performed a few songs. To sum it up, they gave me chills!!! AMAZING!! I enjoyed listening to that very much.

After we had a nice lunch then off to the SOCCER DERBY it was!!!!!! A nice little redneck tradition, but the best part I got to be with my Bestie Kayla, her Fiancé, his sister, and my handsome husband!!!

Yep, theres' the raccoon eyes!!!!! It was a nice time with a beautiful view of the most beautiful temple!!!!

It doesn't get better than that!!!! Sorry to post all the pictures at the end. After the derby Jake and I walked around the new garden across the street from the temple. I was wanting it to be finished by the time Jake and I were married so we could go take pictures by the reflection pool. We didn't get to but its just as beautiful as I had imagined it.

This makes me proud to be LDS. What beautiful creations are made by people who had nothing!!!
Amazing.

We finished this wonderful day off with a spontaneous stop at the drive in movie on the way home. Today I have looked at everything that has happened in my life and has led me to where I am today, and I can say that I am very happy that I am where I am. I love my family, I love my husband, my marriage, my friends (who I miss A LOT!!!), my in-laws. I'm feeling very grateful today!! Maybe its Jake leaving for a week haha but for all of you who are reading this and have had an influence in my life, THANK YOU!!!
