I know it's not Sunday but I have been reading a book called "Love is a Verb" by Mary Ellen Edmunds. There was one line in my reading today that really defines how any relationship works.. She says: "you can serve without love, I suppose, but I don't think you can have genuine love without serving - you cannot feel compassion without feeling compelled to help in some way,to do what you can. Love is this a powerful, peaceful force for good."

That is a deep insight into the action of love that I have never thought of before. That is why a marriage, friendship, any relationship takes work. In order to receive you have to give.
