Sometimes I am really bad at this blogging thing. Okay, I have gotten really bad at it! And I apologize. About a month or so ago, anytime I went anywhere I had ideas just flowing through my head of posts and things I wanted to say. Not so much anymore! I have become an airhead!
For a happy Friday post I wanted to talk about Families. Because, after all, we are stuck with them forever and ever! :) I have realized how important my family is to me since I got married. When Jake and I moved to Mapleton, right after we got married, It was so hard for me to transition. #1 to being married and #2 not knowing a single soul up "in the city".
I learned that I had to rely on my sweet husband and my family as well as Jakes. They were the support that I needed and they were the ones that were there for me. Don't get me wrong. My friends were still there for me, but there are ways that your family can just be there for you in a way that some friends can't.
I really enjoyed knowing that my sisters were going to be driving up to see me, or spend the week with me! It was so much fun going to my in laws and hanging out with Jakes mom when they were all gone hunting. I have really grown a lot closer to my family and have realized that life is a lot better with them in it. No matter what.
It is tough not being able to see my family as often as I see Jakes, but I know that they are still there. Even though they can't always stop to see me.
I am so happy that my family is eternal. I am so very happy that Jake is my family and that we get to learn and grow with one another.
Enjoy the day :)
